Established in June 2007 and located in Qingkou Auto Industry Park, Fuzhou, Fujian province. Fujian Benz Automotive Co., Ltd (Fujian Benz) is a joint venture by Daimler Vans Hong Kong Limited, BAIC Motor Co., Ltd, and Fujian Motor Industry Group Co., Ltd.

Fujian Benz owns the exclusive Mercedes-Benz vans production center in Asia Pacific area and Daimler’s first R&D center for Mercedes-Benz vans outside of Germany, covering business scope of R&D, complete vehicle production, sales and after-sale service etc.

With a total investment of 434.6 million euros and the registered capital of 287 million euros, Fujian Benz covers a total area of 660,000 m2 outlining for production and logistic, including 330,000 m2 for Phase I production and 162,000m2 for building construction.

Through the introduction of Mercedes-Benz production system (MPS), Fujian Benz has completed the supporting facilities and established strict quality management system. It is now the only Mercedes-Benz vans production center in Asia Pacific area with the most extensive product portfolios and an annual vehicle capacity of Phase I of 40,000 units.

Since the establishment, Fujian Benz has put into production successively five major models: Viano, Vito, Sprinter, V-Class and New Vito, offering the ultimate honored experience for Chinese customers in all aspects. Meanwhile, Fujian Benz cooperated with domestic licensed modified car workshops, and refitted many luxury cars and special-purposed cars for different scenarios based on existing models, which not only meet all customer’s needs in both business and life use but also provide strong supports for the justice, health and other industries.

While striding to high-end manufacturing, Fujian Benz also positively practices its social responsibility. In September 2018, the company launched a CSR brand "Ring Star" in September 2018.
